I like repetition of areas. And in addition – it seems to me that something is repeating all the time. So I am just copying the life.

And because I repeat hand adjusted areas each of them is different nevertheless almost the same. As day with day and year with year  take turns.

By purpose I do not make arts with computer or any other machine technology (and how much faster would it be…).  I colour them by hand, cut them, colour them again and stick them. Owing to the human factor different and at the same time identical areas are rising. I arrange them to the final area by beforehands determined rules – in the cases when the colours of the small areas are different and geometrical pictures should rise.  Another time I shuffle them and line them up as it turns out.

It might be similar in the life too.

I know the title beforehands, I know the colours, the way of arranging the small areas (according to the rules or by chance), I also know the number of small areas in the lines and columns. However I am always surprised by the result. That is the reason why I am always looking forward each Art so much.

I am an artist engaged mostly in various applications of photograph.

Lately I concern in the collection of collages. I call them "Arts" because of their far formal connection with op-art and pop-art. In the "Arts" I am trying to present harmoniously various processes and my view on them. Formally "Arts" are mostly collages, above all made of hand-coloured photographs (up to 200 - 400 photographs at the area of approx. 1 sqm) or other flat objects. In contradiction to pop-art I am not trying "only" to make visible and promote various articles, but especially to express some feeling or opinion through planar arranged coloured photographs or objects.

As the single  photographs are hand-coloured, each of them is original so the whole surface becomes the complex of collage of few hundred small originals. Through their connection I am trying to talk to my environs.

I am intentionally not making the "Arts" by computer or some other machine technology. I produce them only by hand-colouring, cutting and sticking owing to the imperfect work-manship smaller or bigger deviations are occuring in single collage-areas that are othervise the same. In this way and together with name of each "Art" I want to make visible my understanding of this world with it´s problems - the world is in individual things so different and still so similar.
